Blanca Espinoza

Blanca Espinoza is originally from San Francisco and moved to the Sacramento area in 2018. Blanca is a dedicated, compassionate attorney who has a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience serving families and children.

Blanca obtained her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Blanca’s interest in family law began when she was a student intern at the Superior Court of California, first in San Francisco County followed by Alameda County, assisting parties with dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, and child support issues. It was then that Blanca learned how the court can make a tremendous impact on people’s lives.

After graduation from law school, Blanca worked at a nonprofit organization in Oakland, CA, where she assisted petitioners to obtain domestic violence restraining orders and start their dissolutions. Blanca witnessed the difficulties people face as they leave unhealthy relationships.

Blanca is fluent in Spanish and enjoys utilizing her bilingual skills to assist those in need, as she has done throughout her career.

In 2005, Blanca accepted a position at the Alameda County Superior Court Family Law Facilitator’s Office where she became a core staff member assisting the public on a daily basis with various family law issues, as well as other areas of law. Blanca’s devotion to family law and strong work ethic were rewarded, as she earned multiple promotions at the court.

Blanca is a member of a very select group of attorneys who has had the honor of serving as a Family Law Facilitator and Self-Help Center Manager for the Superior Court, a role which Blanca was proud to serve in Yolo County.

Prior to law school, Blanca obtained her Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University, with a double major in the Speech and Communications and Ethnic Studies departments, and her Associate’s degree in Liberal Studies from the College of San Mateo.

When Blanca is not at work, she spends most of her time with her husband and their blended family. Blanca enjoys spending time outdoors and reading history books.
