Cameron M. Fernandez
Cameron M. Fernandez graduated with high honors from Santa Barbara College of Law in 2005, having attended law school while working full-time at the Law Offices of Shannon L. Fernandez and raising his family. During law school, he completed internships with Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge Rogelio Flores, as well as the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office.
He began practicing law in 2006 and became a full partner of FERNANDEZ and FERNANDEZ in 2007. He is a current member of the Northern Santa Barbara County Bar Association and former member of the William L. Gordon American Inns of Court and Rodney S. Melville American Inns of Court.
Cameron has developed a good reputation amongst his peers and the judiciary for being an extremely bright and talented young lawyer. He meticulously prepares for each and every court appearance and presentation, all the while extending the utmost professional courtesy and compassion for his clients.
Besides his dedication to the legal profession, Cameron is active at the community level as a volunteer coach. He has coached youth basketball and little league for the past several years. Cameron has also been a guest speaker at public outreach events, local bar association functions and on the radio. He is also a devout Christian and is a very active member of his church. Cameron has also accepted court appointments to serve as minor’s counsel in complex child custody cases.
Cameron has been married for nearly 15 years. Together, he and his wife are the parents of 5 wonderful children. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife and children, surfing, traveling around the world surfing and playing basketball and baseball.
Michael Hulshof graduated Cum Laude from California State University of Fresno with degree’s in History, and Sociology. He went on to attend the University of La Verne College of Law. During his time at La Verne College of law Michael made the Dean’s List on multiple occasions and became an editor for the school’s Business Law Journal. As a student, Michael worked in NBC-Universal’s legal department in Universal City.
After graduating from Law School and passing the California bar exam, Michael was hired by The Law Office of Christian Schank as a family law attorney. Michael handled over 200 family law cases throughout the state of California before eventually joining the Law Office of Cameron M. Fernandez.
Michael has continued to work in his favorite area of practice, family law, and is now one of the most sought after, under age 40 attorneys in Contra Costa County, Alameda County and Santa Clara Count. Currently, Michael thrives in complex custody/visitation litigation and dissolution matters. Michael sets himself apart by his fierce work ethic, his compassion for his clients, and his personalized service to them.
Michael is happily married and is a father to newborn son named Hunter. Michael is an avid bay area sports enthusiast. When Michael is not with his wife and child he is likely at AT&T Park dressed in orange and black.
Kim T. Ma
Kim Ma graduated with High Honors from UC Davis with a degree in Managerial Economics. She went on to attend the Santa Clara University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate. After graduating from Law School and passing the bar exam, Kim was hired by the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office. Kim worked as a Deputy District Attorney where she developed impressive trial skills. Kim went on the work for one of best criminal defense firms in California before eventually joining making the shift to family law. Kim is now a practicing family law attorney who can be found fighting for her clients daily in the Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, and Yolo Family Law Courts.
In her spare time Kim enjoys being a mother, Zumba, site-seeing, conquering challenging Word-Puzzles, and spending time with her family.
